Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

NOTE:  You will need to check the app on an android phone or tablet.

Have you ever wondered how all of those great ‘apps’ you download and use everyday are created?  Does the idea of ‘making’ an app sound fun or perhaps difficult?

Well, you are in luck!   You are about to embark on an interactive learning journey where you will learn how to make mobile apps with ease and understand the core functions that go into programming an application.

You will learn how to make a basic App without writing any code (on your computer) and test it out in real time on an Android tablet or phone!

You will use a program called AppInventor2 via this site ~ ai2.appinventor.mit.edu to create an app called HelloPurr  ~ when the user touches the 'Kitty' the  'Kitty' purrs....
