Mastering the Chromebook

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Not just another pretty laptop, the Chromebook gives you access to the power of Google’s Chrome browser and any application and extension built to work with your Google account. It may not seem like it, but there is a lot of power, potential, and even a little pizazz inside just waiting to be unleashed. In this session, we will explore the Chromebook and the features built into its operating system. We will compare Google Apps and Chrome Extensions, then where to go to manage both. We will review how to setup your device so that you can access many of its features even if you have to work offline. We will learn how to manage software updates, take a screenshot, manage your bookmarks, and a handful of touchpad gestures (pun intended). Bring your Chromebook to the party and walk away a master of your device.
